So more asshole lads on tour then? Fuuuuck the king

I don’t think lads wait until there’s a public holiday to go on tour!

And the festival (50% of last year’s capacity) is likely to be sold out this year. Not sure the lads are that well organised…

Where did you get the 50% reduction in capacity

Wondering if they will bring back the free show on the Wednesday.

According to Dice ticket details:

Both locations will also run different complementary activities during the days coming up to the festival, from Monday to Wednesday and the closing Sunday (from Monday 29th May in Barcelona and from Monday 5th June in Madrid) to fully integrate the festival into the city.

US musicians are cancelling tours to the UK because of the weak pound.

The Euro hasn't weakened as badly as the pound has against the dollar but it's still quite a long way down from a year ago, making it harder for Primavera to attract US bands.

Skipping the UK is one thing. Big thing, but doable. Not touring at Europe at all (or any Euro based country)? I dont see it happening. As long as PS are on the same boat as any other european festival or venue, I dont think it's  a big deal. US bands will not perform only in America/Asia

I agree and didn't express myself very well.

Nonetheless Animal Collective have just cancelled their tour over the pond (and more than half the shows were in the EU).

I hope that, in addition to the A La Ciutat programme in the city, that BCN brings back the free gig at the Forum on the Wednesday. The demand to get into things like Wet Leg this year was enormous, so opening the FORUM a day early for those (if it's possible) makes sense IMO.

Only way to fight this is to bring Idles back.

"We're an anti-monarchy band. Fuck the Queen."

On the jubilee. A real highlight in the middle of their set. One or two slightly confused British lads near me, most of the other Brits nearby cheered along, to be fair.

I think it was already confirmed when they announced Madrid. back to the old ciutat format, including the free forum Wednesday
