Heard there was a storm in BA and they had to shorten the festival by a couple of hours (plus some bands played earlier and did abbreviated sets).

Blur's London show is confirmed as early July, so it's not impossible they're around a month earlier.

Prices are getting out of control. Shows the incredible value for early bird tickets were at £200.

And someone needs to give Lorde a geography lesson. She kept referring to the festival as taking place in winter (you'd think coming from NZ she'd get it, not to mention its name...).

Gather Arctic Monkeys only played their brought forward headline set for half an hour or so before the festival had to be abandoned and Japanese Breakfast and Beach House, on after them, never even got to play.

Thankful for how kindly the weather gods have treated us at the forum the years.

On subject of big cash money, someone has posted on another forum that arena shows in the US are now c.£350 and in Colombia, Bad Bunny standard-price tickets are being offered at £400 (£4,000 if you want VIP).

Not all American arena shows. It really depends per market as well as on the specific acts.

In other news, Lizzo's USA tour for next year goes through June 2nd so she ain't playing Primavera in Barcelona.

The Colombia prices are not accurate. You have to buy the tickets for the stalls in packages for 10 persons - the most expensive is 24.000.000 pesos, which is 4.800€. The cheapest stalls ticket is about 85€ per person.

I didn't know how accurate that post was and great to have someone informed to correct the record.

It did seem madness, especially given the much lower average earnings in Colombia.

Bbk has announced a few new names. Chemical Brothers, Florence + the Machine, and the Blaze the ones that jumped out to me. They'd already announced Arctic Monkeys. 

Doesn't necessarily rule out the Chems, for instance, but I'd be downgrading them in my predictions now.

I was at Madrid, was amazing. I don't think playing in Spain rule you out to play at Primavera. We had so many examples against that statement
