Going to the Baltics between two Spain dates seems weird so I don't know if we should expect them at PS.

TBH with all this private capital and expanding I'm not really looking forward to this years Prima yet. At some point, there is simply nothing gained from getting bigger for most attendees. Depeche Mode is a really nice catch, but I never went to PS to see stadium-size bands. And sure, I can just watch anything else on the 14 other stages, but that was true for most years and they didn't cost 300€ and had an extra 20.000 people.

Early birds were 195euros for this edition and will presumably be similar next year.

Yes, the price is going up but ticket inflation is rampant for all gigs and festivals. I don't see this as at all unique to Primavera.

Suggest to have a look at the headliners when they emerge. I expect they won't be so very different in shape and feel to recent years.

A lot of obvious Primavera acts seem to be available but there are always a few surprises. Any wildcard guesses? Hate to do this again but I think Frank Ocean will be rebooked at some stage and he's playing Coachella apparently...

I really hope most of this year's drop-outs will reappear next year. I'm aware that girl in red is not an option anymore, but Bleachers, Japanese Breakfast, Georgia or Perfume (and definitely a few others I can't remember now) will be very welcome if they come back.

Why burna boy has suddenly become so huge that he’s the first name announced for roskilde? I mean he’s big but potential headliner for that festival, and consequently also for primavera, really?

Roskilde's first announcement was pathetic anyway - pretty possible none of the 'headliners' actually close a day

Afrobeats is huge atm - Burna Boy did a big slot at glasto and has announced a UK london stadium show
