Sorry to sound stupid but the main festival is only days 1st of June to 3rd of June? Yeah? Only cause my flight home is the 4th and I arrive on the 1st

thanks

You'll miss the shows in the days during the run up - in previous years the day before has been quite a big deal. Different bands too.

You'll also miss the closing party on the 4th.

They might do something different but this was the template for a decade plus.

Will surely be in the morning as in recent years.

In the old days it was indeed always in the evening and I think they would invite their friends around for a press conference and a party. Probably also as ticket sales within Spain mattered more back then.

I agree, maybe a video teaser at midnight of 28th

Yeah, people said the same about Pulp.

Not quite the same. Cocker's been playing solo for years since Pulp split, I'm pretty sure Jeff Magnum has been totally MIA in that time.

Not saying it's impossible and I would probably fly out to Spain just to see it but I think it's a pipe dream.

How realistic could be the return of LCD soundsystem?

Against them, Hot Chip have a date one week later. Despite Al Doyle didn't come to the last South American gigs with them, he is still a member of both bands in his social media, and they didn't share tours since 2010 I think.

Pros, they played last time in 2016 and last year only played in Bilbao, and the two fests share the same booking team or have a good relationship.

And to be more perfect, in fact the band won't do regular tour in a while, they could play residences during the two weeks, maybe 3 gigs in the city Monday to Wednesday and a show in the festival Friday or Saturday.

Yes, I believe it's possible.

I would say they're possible.

One more possible con is that they're heavily rumoured on the Glastonbury forum to be in Ireland (and I think the UK?) in August, so that might suggest a tour later in the summer.

But they're pretty unpredictable when it comes to touring patterns - there's not many acts who do multiple residencies in single cities for instance, so I dunno.

I wonder would they be ticking the same box as blur, pulp and Depeche Mode though? Legacy ish, reunion ish. I'd like them there, but if the lineup was topped with Depeche Mode, blur, pulp, lcd soundsystem and one or two pop acts, its a little low on variety IMO.
