Staying with a caravan, travelling down by car

Hi, I am staying with friends who have a caravan who are travelling down on the Tuesday. Will I be able to go and meet them if I travel down on the Tuesday evening. Looking to arrive around 10pm. It says that I have to stay in the car until gates open but people are also saying they queue early. Anyone know if I will be able to leave the car.

Hi, if you park in the East car Parks then you can meet your friends.  If you park in West then you can't.

Ditto the above. If you park in east the east car parks there's nothing to stop you walking to their campervan field. There's just a small matter of finding it lol

We're doing this too. Are there a few paths into the CV field or just one entrance? And is it easy to find from the carpark? We're planning to use the what3words app to find the van itself

It will be easier if you can get on the blue route and the blue car parks, because they naturally feed towards Gate C. Purple feeds towards Gate B
