CaledonianGonzo
I don't remember any dust last year and there actually was rain at a couple of points across the weekend.

It was fairly dusty at times in Undle Ground, stall holders were damping it down.

Yeah a lot just look like trainers. Mine do. There's probably better or there but mine work fine for me. Some reasonably big hikes recently too. CaledonianGonzo
My longstanding trail shoes have finally d@bbed down so got a new pair this year and I am a little nervous about then. They still make the old pair (North Face Hedgehogs) but they're no longer Gore Tex and seem significantly less robust, so gambling on a new brand. circus92
Wore trainers on Wednesday last year, but changed to boots for the rest of the fest because of the woodchip. The boots were more sturdy and robust, but found them a bit heavy/cumbersome at times, so fancy some lightweight trail shoes this year. Any recommendations? Maybe at the top end price-point wise, but I've acquired a pair of Danner Trail 2650s. Feel great and they should be waterproof, but they’ve yet to be tested in anger. philipsteak
I've just got the Reebok Ridgeriders. Not as nice as Calgon's but they are doing me ok so far. A few boggy fell tops today and the goretex is still holding up. Only had about 3 months. Think they're about £70 or 75 full price but can regularly be had for about half that. Think I payed just under 40.

The dew on grass stays out and they are decent for a stroll. Couldn’t do a full week in them. Mix with Merrell walking shoes and that was me sorted in ‘22. I leave for the festival in 30 days, it’s time to join this thread. ⛅️⛅️⛅️⛅️☀️☀️☀️

Superb, really knows his stuff. Had a proper nerd out (and an excellent coffee too obvs) before starting. Don't know how often he's there though.

I found it pretty awful on the Railway Line, particularly the area where you drop down past the toilets and into Other. That was our main route from our camp into the stages so I walked around there a lot and really noticed the dust.
