Oh no!

Wednesday 7 Jun - Wednesday 21 Jun

Through this period there is an increasing likelihood that unsettled conditions will slowly begin to extend northward across the UK from the south, with some heavy, thundery showers and longer spells of rain possible. The northwest of the UK is likely to experience the driest conditions. Winds are expected to be light, but with stronger sea breezes in some coastal areas at times. Temperatures are most likely to be above average overall, though eastern coastal areas may feel cooler, with a greater chance of onshore winds here.

All sun all weekend is a terrible thing to want there. Why does everyone feel the need to want 2010 or even 2019 the whole weekend. Besides. The fest is due for a wet one.

2019 was glorious. No idea why any lunatic would prefer rain all weekend. A bit of light drizzle or a few showers overnight when everyone is in bed are okay but when the place turns into a mud bath it makes it so much harder.

Rain all weekend is a nightmare, a mud bath is hell.

Not everyone is in bed, the best time for light rain, IMO, is between 7am and 10am.

The year we want again is 2017. Yes it was a bit too hot for setting up on Wednesday, but after that it was perfect. Few teeny tiny showers to keep the dust down, not too hot, not chilly at all. Repeat of that, please

100%.  Perfect weather across the weekend.

As long as I'm able to sit down without getting a soggy arse, I'll be happy really.

Welcome to the UK. This update from the met office could apply to pretty much every summer. We always have thundery showers. The models have been predicting a warmer than average summer for a while now, and along with that comes the risk of thundery showers. And the forecast isn’t even for festival week - plenty of time for the site to dry out.
As you were everyone.

Just for context, we went through all of this last year as well. We can get through this xx

It was looking like a complete washout for the festival up until the day before IIRC and we ended up with pretty much perfect weather.

All it takes is a surprise Azores finger or an African plume to give us a warm weekend of wonder
