Rain all weekend is a nightmare, a mud bath is hell.

Not everyone is in bed, the best time for light rain, IMO, is between 7am and 10am.

Sorry, by in bed I meant between 6am - 11am. Which I appreciate is probably not accurate for everyone. But yeah, I agree with your timings.

Accuweather has changed dramatically in the last 24 hours. All of the thunder set for glasto weekend that has been there for weeks, has now jumped to later in the month. Of course still way too early to be accurate, but something good to cling onto for those hoping for a dry one. Accuweather had a pretty good track record over the last few years.

I'm pretty sure we were calling it InAccuweather by the time the festival came around. Think they get most of their traffic from clickbait forecasting.

I'm definitely team Metcheck who currently have it at low 20s with a very light sprinkling of wet stuff on one day.

Still far too early to pack bags based on the weather.

Is this when Rudimental got pulled in 2014 because they thought the Pyramid was going to explode?

The Cure continued playing through a lightning storm in 1986, really added to their set.

How times have changed.

I am taking the kids this year and they are too big for prams now so praying its not a really muddy one - no idea how they will cope!! its hard work for me to walk all those miles in it - imagine what it will be like for a 5 year old. Doesn't bear thinking about.

If we’re after weather to suit everyone then I’d take last year in a heartbeat.

Trainers all festival, mostly sunny and decent temperatures.

Yes, I’d agree with that. Dry underfoot and you can at least double your wandering  around the fields. Also without rain and mud the feel good factor just spreads everywhere.
