thoughts on a Bon Iver Other headline?

saw him at Wembley arena the other week and was brilliant, with an especially good light show/set-up - so would need night time to work best at a festy

But appreciate that those shows were pushed back multiple times from 2020 after the last album came out in 2019, so is too late now?

They've announced one date the start of June next year in Sweden (I think?) so they're about. I'm hoping they're there for sure. Would be a great other headliner.

The War On Drugs subbing the Pyramid? Has your average Glasto punter even heard of them?

Also where are these Rihanna predictions coming from?

I don't usually make flags, but if Fred plays, I'd be very tempted to make one

"Easier to get tickets to Glasto than Fred Again in Brixton"

I'd say he's nailed on. He most certainly should have already been there this year, but was playing across the U.S at the time & his team seemed to prioritis Coachella over Glasto.

If he'd made 2022, I think he could pulled a lovely secret set in JP (absolutely rammed mind you).

Now after the new album, I could see him subbing the Pyramid. Feels similar to XX before Radiohead in 17.

He's so radio friendly even the chair crew would be bopping along.

If setlist fm has everything then it looks to me that glasto just missed the wave. He could have easily done Glasto and Electric forest and his instagram posts made it seem like he  wasn't even approached

Hes not subbing the pyramid

Subbing the Pyramid?  This hype is getting daft now... he'll barely sub WH.  XX had three albums, and In Colour was a couple of years old, in 2017.

Can already picture the crush of Freds set at Park. He's not big enough yet for Other imo but I cant think of another stage that would fit his crowd. I would say it would be one of the biggest crowds of the weekend.

Fred will be headlining West Holts.

Defo big enough for that now.

west holts headline. id say he could possibly other stage headline if hes up against someone like guns and roses and draw a big crowd due to lack of mass cross over.  I went to his WHP gig and he draw a crowd that was 50% bigger than jamie xx on the same stage.

He is no where near that big.

I get the hype train is massive and he'll get (and deserve) a decent slot, but he ain't subbing the big one.

Absolute rubbish. Caribou did it this year who did a single show at Brixton last time they toured.
