sheffinghell
Incredibly sad news about one of the good guys. A loss to ticketing, Sheffield (they are based in the city), live events, NHS staff and the many thousands of others who've benefited from his business, and of course his family, friends, and colleagues at Tickets for Good. RIP Nev.
Riggins
That's sad to read. I have been waiting quite a while for an application to be approved and was thinking of chasing again, but will give that a miss. Hopefully they can take the time needed

sheffinghell
There will be free tickets available for Bludfest via Ticket Bank, the low income version of Tickets for Good. Not on yet, but definitely coming soon. Criteria for membership is receipt of benefits - pretty much most of them I think.

Crouchinho76
Just an aside for both the Busted and Streets tickets - when you get them they are listed as "EARLY" tickets, and it looks like to have to arrive before 5pm. If you arrive after 5pm it suggests you will be charged full price on the door. Reckon they will be strict on this? They've clearly sold very poorly so they would be mad to turn people away that will be spending money once in on beer and food etc.
chickenfire
Ticketmaster have a wider "Summer Flash Sale" on at the moment: https://guides.ticketmaster.co.uk/summer/?int_cmp_name=Summer-Flash-Sale-2024&int_cmp_id=UK-Home-601&int_cmp_creative=Home-main-3&tm_link=tm_ccp_Home_main_Summer-Flash-Sale-2024 The headline discount is 50% off some dates of the Girls Aloud tour, which I'm sure loads of folk on here will be rushing to buy... They didn't even scan my free tickets so I texted them to friends who also got in after 19:00 on the same tickets.

Semprini
If anyone wants stupidly cheap last minute tickets for Air this evening at the Royal Albert Hall then have a look on a certain resale site that starts with the letter V. There's a pair currently going for £21 (that's for both tickets including fees) in section R in the circle. Little tip: go to the .com version of the site and not .co.uk as they're always cheaper. I wouldn't normally entertain using them at all but in the last few weeks I've managed to get well below face value tickets for Tenacious D, Olivia Rodrigo and Air.

CaledonianGonzo
How kosher is the V place? Not used it before but there's a ticket for Perry Farrell and the lads on there at not too much over face value and I'm sorely tempted. Edit: £33 booking fee plus VAT = GTF Edited May 30 by CaledonianGonzo

I was checking daily for a few weeks beforehand and managed to get VIP pit tickets for £180 each instead of £265. I wouldn’t normally spend that much but it was a birthday present for my daughter, who had been banging on about going for ages! This was for the last night she did at the O2. We each got a merch bag that was worth about £100, plus we were right in front of the stage a few feet away from her. There were other general admission tickets going for about £80-100 each and the best time seemed to be a couple of weeks beforehand. She did some dates in Antwerp just after London and they were selling for £30-40 each. Also got two £55 (plus whatever the fees were) tickets for Tenacious D in Nottingham for £87. This was the first time I’d used the site and I was worried the tickets would be fake or something. They were available to download about a week beforehand and I had no issues at all on the door.

My daughter was massively on my case as soon as we got home from London to book Antwerp. She was completely undeterred by the fact it was midweek and, as I work in a school, I’d have to be in by 8am the next day!! The .com version of that site is definitely my ‘go to’ place for tickets now. Already got my eye on cheap late ones for Field Day in August. I live a couple of hours from London so the key is to book travel and accommodation (if necessary) and bank on cheap tickets coming available. I’m also a long suffering blue so more than happy to try and bring a bit of joy, as we obviously can’t rely on football to do that!
