First poster was 4th march last year. We reckon they might be on a similar timescale?

Doubt it. They had an earlier balance deadline and resale last year to take advantage of some covid tax break.

It’s all far too quiet though … this is weird …  Emilys soon definition in dec has well and truely passed us by now

Tbf the 2 before that haven’t been that deep into March.

Fair point, though 2020 felt rushed out in a "Here's what you could have had" fashion. Though with the relative radio silence to date, maybe they'll spring it on us again.

It did go to show that they clearly have enough confirmed to put out a poster that early though. Zero reasons not to get it out early March from now on IMO.

I suspect it might be down to artists wanting to sell their own shows out first though and straight after COVID pre-cost of living crisis that wasn't as big a deal as we were all desperate to go to gigs again. I have still gone for an early date because I think if Glastonbury can boost that raffle they'd love to but I imagine it's not entirely on them.

Last year was during the balance window so I think that sets the earliest it could happen, if it was ready on the 1st March when balance window opened it would have been out.

I think they've given themselves a bit more breathing space so mid March is my bet.

The longer we go without anything though makes me wonder if there's some big changes that might be coming this year. New areas etc.

Hope you're right, would love something new to explore 😊

Big changes dont need to drop with a poster tho. Thats the map and area announces which start from April onwards generally

It could affect the programming you're announcing on the poster though which might be why there haven't been other announcements in the interim.

Perhaps there has been a Prince style headliner issue and they are having to make some major changes that have led to a delay in announcing.

Hopefully Emily saw footage of GnR performing recently and decided to nix them all together. 🙃
