chazwwe
If they were to headline Glastonbury (this or next year) I can't see them doing the whole album, I imagine a strong 7-8 songs off of it though. 1. Looking For Somebody To Love 2 TooTime 3 Caroline 4 Sex 5 It's Not Living 6 When We Are Together 7 Robbers 8 Happiness 9 Love Me 10 Part Of The Band 11 Me and You Together 12 If you're too shy 13 I Always Wanna Die (sometimes) 14 I'm In Love With You 15 People 16 About You 17 Love it if We Made It Encore: 18 1975 (Being Funny Album version) 19 The Sound 20 Somebody Else 21 Give Yourself A Try Edited October 15, 2022 by chazwwe
Guest
They really do have enough material to fill a set with big hits now.

NorthernSoul52
Medicine and fallingforyou two bangers that will likely struggle for airtime down the line with five main records to choose from. If I've got a dream nineteen-song set - regardless of how it would play at Glastonbury - would have them both in there. NorthernSoul52
In fact, might as well entertain myself - a dream Glastonbury setlist. Rose-Colored Boy
Obviously the real dream is that a Pyramid headline set is the moment they finally play Antichrist for the first time.
StevieGed
Glastonbury Setlist circa 2024. 1. If You’re Too Shy Let Me Know 2. Looking For Somebody To Love 3. Love Me 4. Happiness 5. Chocolate 6. Paris 7. Oh Caroline 8. It’s Not Living If It’s Not With You 9. Robbers 10. About You 11. I’m In Love With You 12. A Change of Heart/If I Believe You 13. Me & You Together Song 14. Somebody Else 15. I Always Wanna Die Sometimes 16. When We Are Together 17. Love it if We Made it 18. The Sound 19. Give Yourself a Try 20. Sex Too many to really choose a setlist from now, as well as personal favourites. I’d definitely like to see If I Believe You come back in, but it’s a lengthy one, albeit the best off of ILIWYS for me. Would love to see any of Shes American/She Way Out/Settle Down/Tonight I Wish I Was Your Boy come into the fray out of the bigger album cuts, but can’t see it. Medicine is also one of my favourite songs of theirs, and when I’ve seen them play it live with the city light back drop and the extended guitar outro it’s been great. Hope they put An Encounter back in for the intro to Robbers also.

Love Me is probably my least favourite 1975 song also! But it’ll stay in the set list regardless and I appreciate why. Do miss the ILIWYS tour where we were still getting Heart Out/Settle Down/Lost My Head/Please Be Naked live, sure Anobrain/HNSCC we’re snuck in a couple of times too. Good times! Mouseboy11
I find Matt Healy insufferable and I'm disappointed to say I really enjoyed the album.
Matt42
Think it’s not a bad album but I still can’t see them headlining any time soon. Feels like they will be blocked by other options.

CaledonianGonzo
There is no bangers debate. Just either a confused throwback who can't use Google or a pitch perfect parody of a confused throwback who can't use Googlem

I think the fact that AM are probably booked has scuppered it for them for next year as the balance wouldn’t be right for them both to headline in the same year. NorthernSoul52
Curious to hear chat they've got dates booked for November, mind you, when there are still tickets to be shifted for the midwinter leg early next year. Potentially a run of intimate dates? Given they are covering nearly every arena in the country on this initial jaunt, can't imagine it is anything but... OK, might as well predict it - November is a handful of smaller-scale shows - Royal Albert Hall, O2 Apollo and the like - playing The 1975 in full for its tenth anniversary; a extended farewell to the record outside of the big three songs that likely stick around for the future (Chocolate, Sex and Robbers, to clarify), backed up with cuts from the EPs of the era. Would sell like hot cakes. 1 The City 2 M.O.N.E.Y. 3 Chocolate 4 Sex 5 Talk! 6 An Encounter 7 Settle Down 8 Heart Out 9 Robbers 10 Girls 11 12 12 She Way Out 13 Menswear 14 Pressure 15 Is There Somebody Who Can Watch You 16 Facedown 17 Antichrist 18 Woman 19 fallingforyou 20 You 21 Medicine 22 Milk 23 Part of the Band 24 The Sound
Rose-Colored Boy
I would hope they don’t ever take The City permanently out of rotation. Stormer of a song.

Completely agree, would rather see 1975 over all 3 of them and within the discussion on people saying Florence can do it, then so can 1975.
