I still find it interesting that Kneecap didn’t pull out of TGE last year over their Barclays sponsorship. It was the largest UK festival boycott I’ve seen and over 120 artists pulled out. Many set up impromptu events raising money for MAP and other charities. Kneecap stayed played and tried to justify it by arguing that they shouldn’t ’de-platform’ themselves
