The new Horsegirl album is wonderful. It's quite minimal in its sound, maybe even moreso than the last album, but it's got a warmth and tenderness to it. Very chilled out gentle indie music, intimate and quite sweet. Totally simple, unpretentious + doesn't take itself seriously really. Lots of do-do-dos in the songs and I like them all. Would recommend for fans of Yo La Tengo, Pavement and all the slackery rock from the 90s
