This was the Pretenders own website a week or so ago listing themselves as a UK Festival Headline exclusive at the festival on the left hence my comments.

Fair do's. They've got a fair few other festivals listed though. Superb live, headline or not - saw them supporting Neil Young in Hype Park a few years back.

Interesting there's a bit of cross-over though with not only Pretenders, but also Primal Scream and PSB. Maybe gives some clues on day splits for those.

Had a closer look and I don't think that's their official site. It's nicely put together, but seems to be a collection of press releases and archive material.. "©powered by Pretenders 977 Radio". They are not blue tick on Twitter either. So possible that Pretenders were headline exclusive at Stornoway, but not any longer. I guess we'll find out soon!

Seeing a lot of love for the lineup here but I'm not familiar with a lot of the names, do people have specific recommendations that I should check out? I'll definitely check out the Spotify playlist that was very kindly linked but it's always nice to hear from people about who they're hyped to see!

My honest answer is start at the bottom and work up............... there really is so much good stuff on there it all needs a listen, if only one track.

You are right, it is not official. How I missed that I do not know.

Thanks for checking and pointing out.

I guess the Pretenders are headliners then, which makes sense.

Some additions I want to make after a bit of digging of my own:

Friday 26th May:

Pet Needs

Tay Oskee

Rudesix

Mik Artistik's Ego Trip

Pete Bentham and the Dinner Ladies

Morganway

Saturday 27th May:

IDestroy

The Scribes

Seas Of Mirth

Cosmic Ninja

Sunday 28th May:

Warmduscher

Rodney Branigan

There's another act who I know is going to be performing on the Sunday, but since I DM'd them about it, I'll keep it under wraps so not to spoil it

So it was Millie Manders who I didn't want to spoil the day for, since they will be pulling a double shift on the Sunday with Bearded AND Slam Dunk!

Using educated guesses, some knowledge and a huge chunk of make it up as I go along I have updated the clashfinder.

It will be very wrong though set times are all from last year so they might be close.

The clashes are just mind blowing.

Are flogging molly really more headliner than Pretenders? Maybe there is something in the exclusive headliner thing....

FM headlined Beautiful Days a few years ago but the position on the split poster is odd - are they really 2nd down? GB arfe surely not headliners!?

It was hard to do the guess work this year on who was where as it is new people doing the posters - I got used to the previous people and how they listed it all. I reckon there are  a fair few surprises in store as to who is where.

Yeah it is a really good attempt and gives a good idea. I was kinda hoping I would be able to see Beans On Toast so was hoping he wouldn't clash (main set) with Interpol, Primal or Pretneders but can't have everything!

Beans may be 2nd down on the Woodland for main set with Will Varley headlining.......... or it may be somethign different all together.

When you look at it in the Clashfinder, no matter how accurate or not, it's a ridiculously stacked lineup. You could lose half the acts and I'd still be happy. It's going to be a complete clash fest.

Yep - and I have just done  a big edit on clashfinder from things I have looked at and been told........ it is still loads of guesswork but the clashes just move around whatever I do!! Tis bonkers in the best way.

That's interesting cos Muddy Summer's Gail told me they are on at noon in the woodland which is the opening set. Maybe Beans means opening his own thingy?

Ah possibly, his exact words were 'bookending' it. Also that he will be hosting it.

Just going through my list of must-see's, 8 on Friday, 6 Saturday and 6 Sunday. Hopefully should leave some time for catching some random stuff. Works out well under £10 per band. Mad.

It is a very good value festival

Care to share? I'm curious as to who made the list.

Also, what is the electricity situation usually like? Are there places to charge things for free or is it a cough-up-for-lockers kind of scenario?
