Until the pandemic the first announcement tended to come in mid December at the earliest, headliners often in January/February.

It would be nice to hear something soon though.

What we thinking for headliners? I can see Paul Heaton fitting in. They are at Neighbourhood same weekend, tour in full swing by time announcement made on Tuesday and appropriate sized act for BT. That, and I love them.

Gogol Bordello and Flogging Molly are on the Slam Dunk line up same weekend so really hoping one/both make an appearance. Not seen Gogol for a good few years so if it had to be one I'd go for them.

Bagged tickets after enjoying our first taste this year. Excited again after missing out on glasto tickets this year.

Hidden in the background of their new website The Wingmen have a few festivals listed, one is Bearded Theory.

They are new band with album out 27th Jan 2023 and are made up of:
Baz Warne (The Stranglers), Paul Gray (The Damned), Leigh Heggarty (Ruts DC) and Marty Love (Johnny Moped) and when playing live will be joined by Rob Coombes from Supergrass on keys.

 

I think they would fit in very well at Bearded Theory.
