The future sounds stage is better than the Saturday but I'm super glad my hotel got shut down and cancelled my booking

Cost cuts plus nobody listens to the radio anymore so they can’t say to acts ‘we won’t pay you much but we’ll give you guaranteed airplay’ like they used to with Madonna, Lady Gaga, Coldplay etc.

If they’ve already announced the headliners then I doubt the TBC will be anyone of note. Probably a Clean Bandit-level act at best

Although not a great lineup by any standards, if I've done the math correctly, just under 54% (53.97) of the lineup is female or female-fronted which is great to see! Friday for me is the strongest day, especially for £18, the rest doesn't float my boat at all, but I'm sure it's decent enough for the locals to see some fairly big names nearby. I think we still have the Radio 1 Dance Stage to still be announced for the Saturday and Sunday, and then the BBC Introducing Stage for the Friday - correct me if I'm wrong. And then a TBA slot on the Sunday as well, not too sure who that could be though, especially if Wet Leg have headline billing!!

Maybe two door cinema club because they have got a gig in Newcastle on the same day

Royal Blood added to the Sunday. With NBT and Wet Leg also on the Main Stage that day it’s a lot rockier than last year. Albeit with throwaway pop still in the clear majority.
