Am i right in saying no showers in General camping at truck?

As gooner says correct, you can still upgrade to Club Class for £50 still for "lovely hot showers, real flushing toilets and a huge pamper lounge with access to free GHD’s, Hair Dryers and Mirror/ Make Up Stations." but tickets are limited.

It will be my first Truck fest this year at the ripe old age of 27, v excited! In terms of rain/mud, how muddy do you reckon it could get? The weather forecast is constantly changing from a little sprinkle to a bit more rainy on some days. Do you reckon I need to bring wellies?

I would defintely bring some wellies! The forecast keeps changing but i think likely there will be some rain over the weekend: https://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/steventon/ox13-6/daily-weather-forecast/2530789

I also recommend purchasing a waterproof bagcover/case too which you can find on Amazon. At least if your tent floods then your bag and the clothes within can stay dry.

Below is what it was like in 2017 (when the organisers were woefully unprepared and didn't even have straw or wooden pallets to put down). The festival is a lot better now but the weather could change at any moment. I went in 2018 when it rained for Friendly Fires, the crowd was minmal except for those who were prepped with rain macs and wellies! 3/4 of my group stayed in their tents chucking out rainwater and that was only 1 of the nights of the weekend. Imagine if we do get a whole weekend of it pissing it down.

Yeah that looks grim. I'll pack some wellies. Cheers

Their latest insta post suggests there’ll be special guests, but can’t see a slot for any secret sets looking at the set times they’ve posted? Might be a more obvious gap in missing but don’t think the app is updated anyway

They've only announced 2 replacements for the 3 slots so I guess somewhere must have opened up!

Mentioned above this makes The Snuts seem likelier than most, gutted about The Mary Wallopers though

Are you able to walk from the Purple parking (near Zodiac and family camping) to the general campsite on Friday morning?

We've got someone staying in Zodiac who is giving a lift to someone in general camping. They're going to park in the Zodiac camping but would rather not have to drive to the drop off zone first if they don't need to

Hmm probably one to check with the stewards on the morning or pop an email or message to Truck, I do have friends getting a coach drop-off who are then doing the opposite and making their way to Zodiac, I think last year they may have been escorted through the arena but can't 100% confirm

Noticed that She's In Parties is on the App twice for Sunday 14:45 - 15:15 and 14:45 - 16:15. I don't know much about them and assumed that due to the name they may be a bot Goth. Given them a listen today and right up my street. Assume the double post is an error and or they have moved slot and the old listing was never deleated.

The Facebook list's have them on at 15:45 to 16:15.

Looking forward to seeing them what ever slot they actually play.

Just noticed they have added Sofia Isella to the 14:45 to 15:15 slot,so just assume they missed removing that slot for She's in Parties.

Yeah there's a few others like that; Antony Szmierek is on at 15:45 and at 16:45 in the Nest on Sunday (though I know it's the 16:45 slot), would be good for Truck to update these asap really!

Not been before, but from what I've heard from mates there's dogs there and in general are pretty thorough about drugs but they don't care too much about alcohol.

I think as long as you're not trying to wheel in a few big ol crates by yourself they'll be fine, not sure of many other festivals that limit the alcohol you can bring in without being able to buy more in the campsite?

Hope the weather holds off as much as possible, Saturday looks questionable at the mo but fingers crossed!

Any last minute recommendations for bands on the smaller stages or earlier on on the days? I can highly recommend SUDS, Low Island, She's In Parties and Lizzie Esau

Get up early on Sunday and catch Kanadia, I’ve seen them 35 times and they deserve to be higher up the bill
