What are we thinking... someone Scottish, or someone local 🤔

Scottish for that type of slot could be The View, The Proclaimers, Django Django... all out and about atm

Local... are we in Churnups territory ??? Or someone like H17 who are doing an anniversary tour later in the year, and wouldn't want to spoil ticket sales just yet

I only saw the tramlines date and after glasto announcing The ChurnUps, made me wonder if we had a similar situation.

Apparently Nick Banks on Twitter has ruled out Pulp at Glasto. Latest thinking for Churnups is Foos. No mention of Tramlines though 😂

McFly. Mc is a common prefix for Scottish last names and Flys should be spelt flies.

You might be on to something there. They have Leeds Millenium Square headline a couple of weeks before, which would explain secrecy.

The View could now be known as 'flyweights' after their incident at one of their recent gigs...

Travel advice for Arctic Monkeys this weekend at Hillsborough. Note, the curfew is expected to be 10.30 (later than Tramlines, which is usually 10pm, 9pm Sunday), so after leaving the park, buses are going to be in short supply. Many road closures in the area too. Tram appears to the main public transport option if you're heading back into town.

Apparently there's also going to to be temporary residents parking in place around the local area, with wardens.

Parking and road closures will be exactly as Tramlines.

Looking forward to tonight but wish support was a bit better.  Europe dates have got Fontaines DC which would have been great.  Courteeners at Heaton Park tomorrow have DMA's and The Snuts.

Been a couple of surprises on the set list.  Would love them to come out and open with Sun Goes Down.  Not going to happen but that would be special.

Yes, same transport setup, but different curfews, which makes a difference if you wanted to get a bus home.

I loved The Hives at Live at Leeds the other week, and looking forward to seeing them again. Never seen the Mysterines, so open-minded on them. DMAs would not have been an option as they're on the bill for Tramlines. Fontaines would have been good, but presumably there's a reason for the difference between UK and European dates.

For those going today it was very busy certainly all the way down the middle, and not the space used to at Tramlines even for the Headliners. I'm 6 ft and struggled to see much.

Bar queues were great early on but horrendous before Monkeys came on.

Lots of Chavs there including a women in front of us crouching and having a pee while Monkeys on.  I am becoming less tolerant of people at gigs though.

The Mysterines were OK and The Hives decent.  Lead Singer made a proper effort and maybe Alex could learn from that but obviously too cool for any of that interacting nonsense.

As expected very polished from AM just lacking that spark especially as playing their patch.  It could have been anywhere they were playing.  My favourite as someone mentioned above was Body Paint whish was awesome live

This is pretty much what a friend said to me this morning! Still looking forward to tonight, but may have been spoiled by having seen Richard Hawley on very good form in a small venue earlier this week. Not the biggest fan of big gigs, but it's Sheffield, so had to be done.
