Who do we think? I think possibilities are 3 of the below filling in for JXDN, Maneskin, and Jack Harlow, and another 2 being Secret Sets

Frank Turner and The Gaslight Anthem are two options, more likely as TBA on the FR tent than a 'secret' set

Your not getting Jamie T or Kasabian this late on (too big and its sold out), plus Two Door played a bit slot last year so seem very unlikely.

Unless they were booked in as secret sets though ... 

 

Or are the days of "next years headliners" playing secret sets gone, and now its middle of the road indie bands that arent busy that weekend (TDCC, Hunna etc)

I think so. This worked because they had the big R1 tent. I cant see them putting huge secret sets on a main stage.

2017 we had QOTSA and they've been called every year since because of that. There HL announcement in 2021 was a resounding "we told you so" for many of the 2018 predictors.

2017 to 2021... thats 4 years, an amount of time where some headliners have played again.

How do you find out who the secret sets are, where and time? Will they be revealed on the app on the day?

Notifications on the app/social media usually on the day a few hours before the band is on.

Yeah, especially as they’ve been teasing a “TBA” for the last 6 months, just to sack it off completely was really poor. I bet there would’ve been loads of rock/punk bands that would’ve stepped in at late notice if the “TBA” act pulled out.

That’s shocking that they didn’t even announce a headliner for the FR stage in the end. Atrocious work.
