Anybody also disappointed from lacking any good names in EDM? In previous years Party Arena was packed with great names and now every day is themed into different genres.

Do you consider it better like this?

yeah I was thinking the same. last year with Ofenbach, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Elrow, and more. this year does seem a bit disappointing. still excited for Tale of Us and Vintage Culture, though

So Taylor Swift is doing shows in Vienna on 8-9-10 August 2024. No further gigs until 15th August (London).

Bold prediction #1: A huge announcement before Billie Eilish at the main stage that she's going to be the marquee signing for 2024.

Bold prediction #2: It's confirmed that Paramore will be her support, Vienna is the last date of the tour. Even if Sziget can't afford Taylor Swift or if she's determined not to do any festivals while in Europe, Paramore could be available for next year's line up.

I doubt that they'll bring Taylor, but Paramore would be a great fit

hey guys!

it’s my first time at Sziget so please help me out. we are coming by car and we’re staying at Ó utca (hope that’s the name of the street..I’ll attach a photo anyways). I read somewhere that u can only park for 3hours on weekdays, is that true? Anyways, even if that’s not true, does anyone know a cheaper alternative? It doesnt matter if it’s not that close to where we are staying (would be nice tho), as we won’t be using the car at all.

Thanks a lot!!

Yes, as far as I know it's kinda true. I think you're allowed to stay more but you have to pay every 3 hours.

I think a better option for you would be to search on Waze for some paid parking garages. Most of them have offers if you park there for more days. You can leave your car there and take a metro or something to get to your place.

Yes the parking expires every 3 hours and every single time you manually have to extend it.

If you are NOT using the car, the simple solution is to leave it outside of the parking zone.

outside of these parking zones that you can see here, you can park for free the whole time on the streets and just take a taxi.

Parking for a week in the inner city would not only be a nightmare but extremely expensive.

Looks like this year is going to be packed!

Was waiting with my friends to buy last minute tickets on Ticketswap as last year it was super cheap, but not going to happen this year as tickets get sold with instant speed.

Anybody selling ticket or know any alternative to TicketSwap? 🙂

Does anyone know, how many week tickets they sold for 2023?

I don't think there's any available info on this, but their 2022 sponsor evaluation stated that 57% of people came with daily tickets, 25% with 6-day tickets and 11% with 3-day tickets. Rest are student and VIP tickets. If I remember correctly, daily capacity of the festival was around 95 000 (?). That means there's roughly 23 750 weekend tickets available. How many of them are sold, no idea.

I was expecting a lot more so I'm very happy with 1690 for a beer!

Shots and stuff like that murder me anyway, so I'm just ignoring that, daylight robbery.

Edit: what do you guys think about these prices? Is it still an okay deal to travel that far for Wetherspoon prices at a festival?

Wine Spritz is at a decent price. I drink two XL size and I'm fked so...

Yeah, our group has mostly sticked to wine spritz past few festivals. You're f**ked very quickly, it's cheap, and you'll keep yourself hydrated. Can't go wrong with this combo!

And let me be controversial for a sec... They taste much better than beer 😄
