Have heard of the odd person who had midnights presale also getting verified, but I was wondering if it was on a different email address.  I got waitlisted last week for Dublin, as did my mate, both of us had presale codes (but both our husband's got verified)...purely anecdotal I know.

So - with it sounding like nearly everyone is getting waitlist - does this mean that most of the tickets are already gone, or that there's a properly insane number of registrants, or some combination of those?

I didn't even register, given that it was announced and also closed while I was at Glastonbury. Didn't have a clue so thankful the pre-sale kicked in.

Seven million applications supposedly. That’s never been confirmed by any official source but if remotely true then the ratio of rejections to successes is going to be very extreme.

From the looks of it, if you're on the waitlist you'll have to be refreshing your emails constantly during the sale to see if you ge selected.

They’ll also text you when selected - I got a text for The Cure US Tour telling me to get online asap

My email said "Stay tuned, if you’re selected to move off the waitlist, you will receive an email and 2 SMS messages. The email and SMS messages will include a link to where you can purchase your tickets, and your unique access code".  I wonder how long they wait before calling people from the waitlist, like do they give everyone with an initial code say 24 hours to book, and then if still available after that time move to the waitlist...who knows.

Colleague at work has been selected for Wembley and waist listed for the others. She didn't have a pre sale code. I imagine it's a combo of both..? Not seen anyone yet who got tickets during the sale and has also been selected again.

Is that a Ticketmaster or AXS? My AXS one doesn't mention an SMS.

That was a ticketmaster email, but I should've said it was for Dublin, so maybe it's different.  I'd assumed as they were all grouped together it'd have been the same wording.

Feel a little guilty seeing people who put effort in not even being allowed to log onto the website to try for tickets. That's wild

On the other hand, seeing plenty of people who only ever had negative things to say about Taylor prior to the Folklore era being rejected, so that’s nice.

I’m feeling very lucky to have received a code by the sounds of things!
Wonder how many more codes they have issued vs how many tickets are left available? Basically, if you have a code do you have a good change of a ticket (wherever type) do we think? Or will it still be a scramble?

I know it states the below:

‘As a reminder, this link and code do not guarantee tickets, they just give you access to join the sale. Ticket availability is limited. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while currently available inventory lasts.’

… but the sheer number of people seemingly on the waiting list seems to indicate they haven’t handed codes out too generously.

I think the album pre-sale going first seems like the fairest way for this type of thing.

You're more likely to be a "genuine" fan if you've pre-ordered the album (or did the no purchase necessary sign up) way back last year.

A lot of the folk (not all, I hasten to add) signed up for this upcoming sale would be people caught up in the hype and FOMO of it all and probably wouldn't have thought about going until it seemed like the latest hot ticket.

Assume still a scramble.

Absolutely 100%. Doubtful it’ll be such a successful ‘filter’ for her next tour when people are more on the ball and wise to it, but pointless worrying about that for now.

Of about 10 folk in out Glastonbury group trying I was the only one with a Midnights code.

Yeah midnights code got us 12 tickets for Murrayfield over the 3 days. Doubt we will even have got the chance otherwise.

Most people are pretty lazy when it comes to getting tickets, people I know didn’t even register for next week’s sale. How can you expect to go if you won’t put in the bare minimum effort?
