Agree with all of this.

I was so hoping and praying for another 1989 after the last 2 more chilled albums - lets be honest a bangerfest like that is just what the world needs right now.

That said, now I have accepted it for what it is, I am really appreciating it more and more with each listen.  Some brilliant stuff on there and while it doesn't grab you like 1989 it is still a very good album.

I do wonder if she has "pop bangers' in her anymore? People move on & it seems like she has.

Karma seems like that's her "grown up" (for want of a better phrase) version.

Im up to High Infidelity now.. really like this one.

BST artist do change the stage setup and (pardon the pun) Taylor it to suit their own show

Yes, though the turnover (only approx 14 hours between the crowd leaving and the gates opening the next day, and they're restricted on activity for about half of that) means that it can't realistically be to the same extent as is possible with a stadium.

For example the U2 360 setup, or even what Taylor Swift has done on the last couple of tours wouldn't be realistic due to the turnaround.

I really hope Taylor doesn't do Saturday 1st July BST as it will clash with Def Leppard at Wembley Stadium. Bizarre clash of gigs for my household, I know.

Is it just Saturday 1st July and Sunday 9th July left to fill at BST? She must be doing two night surely? If Pink has sold out two nights with other stadium gigs then Taylor must be doing two nights.

Fri 23 Jun - ?
Sat 24 Jun - P!nk
Sun 25 Jun - P!nk
Fri 30 Jun - ?
Sat 01 Jul - ?
Sun 02 Jul - Blackpink
Thu 06 Jul - Bruce Springsteen
Fri 07 Jul - Billy Joel
Sat 08 Jul - Bruce Springsteen

3 dates left to fill. Doubt they'll run Sunday 9th, as it would mean 4 shows on a weekend which would rile up the locals further.

Ah, so I reckon the 30th and 1st are the likely Taylor days then.

Definitely get the vibe that she’s been influenced by the likes of Lorde and Billie for this one. A few songs sound like they could’ve come straight from Pure Heroine to my ears with the minimal production, and the warbling electronics that pop up quite a bit sound like a lot of Billie’s stuff.

Couple of listens in now and I think it’s great. It’s probably not gonna go down as one of her finer moments or a genius reinvention, but it’s a solid 8/10 I think.

Karma was rumoured to be the single, right? ‘Cause it definitely sounds like it.

vigilante shit sounds so much like Billie’s ‘I didn’t change my number’. Tay should be sued again

Like hell she would close a set with we are never getting back together and open with state of grace.

I’d honestly say at this point the most we can expect from the previous albums;

Evermore - Champagne Problems or Willow.

The most we will get from Folkore is either Cardigan or August.

I’d say from Lover we’d get Cruel Summer, Lover, maybe London Boy or You Need to Calm Down.

Would not be surprised if only Delicate and Getaway Car make it from Rep.

1989 - Blank Space, Shake it Off, Wildest Dreams … maybe Bad Blood, Style and Out of the Woods.

Red - I knew you were trouble, 22, and All too well

Fearless - Love Story

Rest will be Midnights tracks.

I'm saying we'll get nothing from Evermore unless she brings out Haim for No Body No Crime.  Folklore we will get the full love triangle, so add betty into that.

From 1989, i think we ight get This Love as she released the Taylors Version? I hope not to be honest, it's hardly a festival banger. Bad Blood is just the worst song, I hope it doesn't make the cut either.

other than that, totally agree - I don't think she will pander to the crowd and do a greatest hits. I think she will mainly do midnights. Happy to be proven wrong 🙂

  1. Lavender Haze
  2. Maroon
  3. Anti Hero
  4. Blank Space
  5. Love Story
  6. Cardigan
  7. Lover
  8. Vigilante Shit
  9. Question?
  10. Delicate
  11. You Need to Calm Down
  12. Getaway Car
  13. Red
  14. You're On Your Own Kid
  15. Wildest Dreams
  16. Betty
  17. August
  18. Exile
  19. Karma
  20. Mastermind
  21. ENCORE - Cruel Summer
  22. Style
  23. Trouble
  24. Shake it Off
  25. All Too Well

My prediction. I think Evermore gets binned off (Willow and/or a medley at most), Folklore gets a heavy emphasis, there's going to be some big omissions, she comes out with an absolutely mental encore of bangers, set is the longest she's done yet and Cruel Summer gets the biggest reaction of the set.
