The only problem with this kind of acts at Nos Alive is that the dance stage is too close to the tent. I remember the concerts by Josè Gonzalez in 2016 and by Fleet Foxes in 2017 with a constant dance noise coming from the Clubbing stage.
I hope they organized their stage disposition a little bit differently.

They didn't. The disposition is the same, unfortunately.

It's a great festival. If you are visiting from another country (or haven't been to Lisbon before) there's plenty to do on the days either side if the festival, Lisbon has good night life and there are plenty of nice beaches only a short train ride away. Estoril is lovely, there is a casino there too and plenty of places to eat/drink there or in Cascais.

The festival itself is great. The site is really small by major festival standards but rarely crowded (toilets are busy between bands). Never missed a band I wanted to see because of overcrowding, sound is good and it's easy to get a good spot to watch your favourite band. Food selection isn't particularly exciting but pretty cheap. Beer queues normally OK, and not badly priced.

I agree, in general, but not about food: last year the festival offered a wide selection of meals, and it is also very cheap. You should try the "bifana" (a pork steak with bread), or other portuguese specialities.

Having seen Pukkelpop come in with the big names (Killers, Florence, Foals on the same day is very high quality), I think NOS need to bring out some big guns of their own. Feels like we are a couple of main stage nig names short on the lineup so far.

Agreed. We'd been deciding which overseas festival to book for ages, we finally booked tickets just before Christmas & it's gone a bit flat announcement wise since, so hoping for 2 or 3 biggish names soon, to confirm we've made the right decision & add to the excitement a bit. Though I'm sure our first NOS will be incredible anyway.

NOS Alive is a great festival, the weather is incredible, the crowds are good and the sound is always excellent. I think the top end of the line-up is pretty strong but we do need to fill in the middle tier of bands now. Killers/Florence/Foals is an excellent trio over at Pukkelpop. Get a strong mid-card and we'll be in good shape.

NOS Alive does not have the festival budget of the biggest festivals in Europe, it is lucky that there is Mad Cool on the same weekend, in addition to having low prices compared to the rest.

director of NOS Alive put a watch on at 9am, when he does this it is by tomorrow (Friday) some international name will be announced, but most likely outside of NOS Alive, he is also the biggest promoter of shows in Portugal.

last time this happened ad The Weeknd , did the same before the announcement of RHCP and AM … so I believe it is a big name

i love this Festival, but its making it really hard to commit ....if they just announced bands 3 or 4 at time a run of band that dont interest wouldnt seem so bad...you end up forgetting the decent bands they announced at the start

Open'er is calling my name...same as the late august european festivals

i was hoping for M83 or Phoenix considering BBK have got them
