Pauladuncan70
One of our group could not attend the festival this year due to serious illness and gave their ticket away to a colleague who tried to use it to get in. They were unsuccessful in gaining access, were detained and questioned for ages and then sent off. Do you think the person in our group, who is now fully recovered (thank god !), will now be blacklisted because they gave the ticket to someone else ? Would Glastonbury have taken a note of their registration number and name and block them from ever buying tickets again? Has anyone any experience of this ? We are a group of 5 with this person and all try and book tickets. I am a worried that the person who gave the ticket away may be blacklisted by Glastonbury and if we are lucky enough to get through to the ticket page on this years sale we will be chucked out because this persons registration has been banned ! Any thoughts ?
incident
It's certainly possible that the specific registration in question might get blocked or deleted, but it's unlikely to go much deeper than that. Personally I'd have them create a new registration and use that instead - it's easy enough to do as a "just in case". If you want to be ultra cautious you could attach it to a different E-Mail address and use a new photo.
Neil
They don't do blacklisting
UEF
That's the first time I've heard of someone not being let in after the questioning - all the stories I've seen they make you sweat a bit but that ultimately you're let in

All 4 ended up leaving the site a few hours later under the watchful eye of security. They had bought the tickets from a mate who assured them they would be fine! A friend who's worked the entry gates for numerous years likes to regale with her tales of catching and ejecting chancers.
