Imagine letting Fender , previously successful sub, whose currently slaying the UK on dates , sales and general decency, slip through the net while you book last years live band who are right now in court defending the onstage creepy behaviour they find acceptable. If it’s ‘75 no Fender, they’ve dropped the ball massively.   (Assuming he hasn’t said nah).

Will probably just be the first 1000 on each day and then immediately move to 'tier 2' I guess.

Could one of them headline the R1 tent vs Travis or Hozier? 

Yeah, all this 'vote for your favourite day' competition etc fills me with dread too. Seems ridiculous to do if you've still got a third of the acts to announce. Unless, of course, the acts they have ready to announce aren't likely to swing votes as they're a group of unknowns.   Maybe they have a few medium acts and they're trying to work out what day to place them on by seeing which days have the least amount of interest in them??
