Honestly I’m surprised Olivia isn’t doing any shows this year. She’d have been a massive coup for R&L 2023 if they got her on an exclusive.

Yeah, I'm very surprised too - surely in line to headline MSW in 2024 or 2025, especially if OR2 is anything as big as Sour.

I think Foo's are a lock for Glasto next year aren't they?

Nah I don’t think they’ll be back so soon personally, especially with Emily talking up two of the headliners being female. Think it’ll be those two + The 1975/Depeche Mode/something else rather than Foos.

Word on the Glasto boards was they'd been asked for this year but turned it down so I wouldn't be so sure. Course, the Glasto boards might be talking ***** 😆

MSE: Paramore / Lil Nas X / boygenius

MSW: YUNGBLUD / The Wombats / Ashnikko

MSE: Skrillex b2b Fred again.. b2b Four Tet / Don Toliver / PinkPantheress

MSW: Olivia Rodrigo / Blossoms / beabadoobee

MSE: Foo Fighters / IDLES / Turnstile

MSW: Playboi Carti / Tom Grennan / Digga D

If the trio thing isn’t going come next year, just book Fred again.. to headline on his own.

Sadly looks way too good to happen!

Long shot as they're probably another of those acts who R&L don't really suit any more audience-wise, but Blur have a new album coming out, and they've always seemed to elude the festival since their number of comebacks so long, long overdue a return. I'd imagine realistically they'll be at Glasto and maybe TRNSMT if they choose to do UK festivals, but just a thought anyway.

I just can’t see them having the same youth appeal the same way, say, Liam Gallagher has.

Insane because there’s more talent in Damon’s little finger than either of the Gallagher’s combined but that’s the way of the world.

New single is fantastic

Exactly the kind of thing you’d hope Blur would be making 30 years post the start of it all

Paramore were phenomenal last night as usual. If they headlined I'd 100% go for the day.

Was gutted I couldn't get tickets to any show on that as I've (admittedly very late to the party) got into Paramore recently. A better undercard + this could persuade me to come along.

Taylor Swift is too big to play Reading and Leeds so we can skip this speculation. That being said, it’s very weird that she’s announced two Wembley dates in August after the run in June. What’s she planning?

I mean, it's one thing that Swift's dates seem to rule her out of Glastonbury, but this would be a super left-field thing. Would've thought it's just a venue availability thing and that someone else has the venue at the time it was wanted.

Making a sh*t tonne of money I imagine

I suspect they wanted 4 London dates and they were the only ones open. She’s in Europe in the meantime, then the tour ends on those final London dates

Paramore supporting Taylor Swift on her whole European / UK tour invoicing Wembley dates near R&L - not sure if this makes them more or less likely?

Given the number of dates Swift is doing, half the country will have seen them come Reading!

While we’re saying in the 2023 thread what seem like slam dunk bookings are not perhaps delivering the sales when they’ve played every venue in the country.

I suspect this Swift tour will hit he Reading 2024 ticket sales pretty hard as a whole to be honest, many 100,000s will be committing money and a weekend away etc to that

What about those of us that would like to see Paramore but aren't fussed about Taylor Swift? Or at least don't know enough of her songs to join in the inevitable Ticketmaster-breaking rush we're gonna see when those shows actually go on sale?
