Registration invalidated?

Hi everyone,

 

Slightly panicking here. I updated my picture yesterday as it was an old selfie, however, when I try to access my Glasto account now it says the email address is no longer valid. I re registered just in case and I am getting the same response. Is this because I need to wait for the pic to be approved? I attended last year and had no issues with registration. Getting quite anxious as registration ends Monday! Anyone else had similar issue?

Have you followed the guidance given on the webpage https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/registration regarding the photo? If so then you need to contact photoqueries@seetickets.com Good luck!

I'd consider just making an entirely new registration with a different email, no point faffing about with customer service with only a few days left of registration

Yes - definitely. Maybe even using a different picture just to be on the ultra safe side.

Registrations do show as invalid while they're pending approval for an updated photo, so it may all work out just fine, but there's a definite risk here if the new photo is rejected.

To be blunt about it - my view is always submit a new registration rather than update a photo - especially this close to a deadline. The problem with updating is that if the new photo is rejected then the registration is zapped - it doesn't just revert back to the old photo.

Hi all, 

I did make another with a new email but it’s saying the same thing. I submitted a new pic which matches the guideline completely and it’s still doing the same thing.. I am just going to call see tickets first thing Monday and contact the photo team!! Thanks for responding everyone

No point calling them. It's unlikely you'll even be able to talk to anyone who knows anything about it.

Almost certainly it's just that the photos haven't been looked at yet - it takes them a few days to get around to it at the best of times, and given the upcoming deadline it would be normal for there to be a backlog.

You've done what you can do - just have to wait now.
