If you're looking for a chess board, you might want to check out online stores like Amazon or eBay. They usually have a good selection at decent prices. You could also try checking out local thrift stores or garage sales, you never know what gems you might find there! Another option could be to ask around your friends and family to see if anyone has one they're willing to part with. As for spider solitaire, it's a great game to pass the time, but if you're looking for a chess board, I'd recommend sticking with that search. Hope you find the perfect chess board soon!

Yes exactly. I'd also point out that the assumption that "I got there early, I should be closer" is bollocks. The festival don't want everyone rushing to arrive early, as it creates headaches. In an ideal world for them, arrivals would be evenly spread starting from 8am Wednesday through to some time Friday morning. But that's not realistic so instead they'll just fill fields in the way that makes most logistical sense ie. as you describe.
