Though I think she'll come to regret not doing Coachella this year.

Reckon she’s already lined up for next year tbf. I totally get why she skipped out on this year - she’d either be playing a near enough copy of the FN set she’s been peddling for a few years now or have to play a load of new stuff nobody’s heard, neither of which are great for what will undoubtedly be her only shot at that gig.

Non of those acts have ever been edgy, with the exception of The Prodigy

Depends how you define edgy. REM were cutting edge in the 80s, Radiohead in the 90s and again with Kid A/Amnesiac. Both brought the mainstream to them. Oasis were edgy in that you never knew when they would start a fight.

I’m sure any Dua stadium shows will have some chunky support acts to help sell them through. Like when Coldplay first went out into stadiums years back when they were thought of as an arena band and had Interpol, Elbow etc announced early as support

So it says. No sooner is it suggested is it also not gonna happen.

Munich is an odd place for her to do her only Euro shows of the year, or maybe it just feels that way to me.

Bang in the middle of the continent, with the infrastructure to put on something like this, and fantastic beer. Seems a no-brainer to me. 😁

It's more that I thought it might be a capitals thing, like a Paris, Berlin or Rome, or maybe shows in the UK as I don't know if she'd done any since covid.

But hey. It's her tour. Who am I to judge?

I think Dua is an artist who doesn't have as much of an established fanbase in the way other pop stars do. She'll pack the field at Glastonbury because she has so many bangers and people want to see her, but buying tickets for her own show? Seems like a hard sell IMO.

I’m of the same opinion, but thought I was just out of touch. I don’t see the kids going mental for her like they do Ariana Grande, Katy Perry etc.

I think its because she doesn't have a set aesthetic/ personality like Billie Eilish or someone. Dua reminds me of someone like Bruno Mars - consistently produces hits that do well commercially and critically but no-ones a die-hard.
