Coach departure question

Coach Sales. 
Hi. Can someone remind me, is there some kind of extra choice with the Bristol and London departure points that other locations don’t get. I’m sure there was, but I don’t remember if it was being able to choose a departure day or time? Or am I wrong? 
Can you choose departure  days from other locations?

Yes, Bristol and London have choice of departure time. Other departure points you can only choose the day, and the times get allocated to you later.

For Bristol, in recent previous years at least, the pattern has been that Return coaches are available leaving at 6:30, 8:30, 10:30, 12:30 and so on. Single coaches are 7:30, 9:30, 11:30, 13:30 etc. Not sure exactly how late they continue on for.

Anyone have any idea when the coach times get allocated, needing to potentially book overnight stay Wednesday or else early rail tickets for the Thursday

This year mine was 25th May, but then my ticket did come from the resale.

You'd still be able to book either a month before wouldn't you?

Essentially, train prices go up quite significantly the closer you get to the date

Ah I booked megabus, which of course wasn't too expensive

Anyone happen to know where the coach from Bath departs from? Not so fussed about times but friends coming from afar so potentially booking overnight stay on the Tuesday and would like to know where departure is from to book a close hotel. Thanks! :)
