Campervan tickets

Morning all

If we get tickets, my mates and I will be looking to go next year in a campervan.

Looking on the website it looks like you purchase the tickets and then the campervan tickets get released at a later date?

If this is the case and you miss out on a campervan plot, are there any camping sites near Glastonbury for campervans? If you do use the campsite outside of Glastonbury, are you able to go in and out of the site with your wristband?

It's been 12 years since we last went to Glastonbury and we are middle aged now so camping on site is a no no 😂

Interested to hear people's experiences of previous years before the tickets go on sale on Sunday.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, That's correct you purchase your ticket and then the campervan tickets go on sale at a later date.   This year there was the East campervan field, and the Bath & West showground, which was around 3-4 miles away from site, someone's mentioned in another thread that they've heard that B&W might not happen next year.

You are able to go in and out of the festival site with your wristband.

I think there used to be a field/car park not too far away from the festival, where people could pay to stay in their campervans, but I can't remember what it was called.   But that might work if you don't manage to get a camper van ticket, and I would also be interested to know if it was available this year, and how long it would take to walk into the festival..

I think you mean Ashcombe park.
