It's like they were drunk and agreed to book three names randomly drawn out of a hat.

Same. Elton the only redeeming artist for me tbh.

Love AM and seen them do 2 festivals and 1 of their own shows and honestly seen enough to be underwhelmed for a lifetime.

GNR... all my opinion etc etc but just abysmal. Hard to put into words how w*nk I think they are, for me one of the worst pyramid headliner bookings of at least the last decade.

Sorry but what odd comments there over and over here.  I get they may not be to people tastes but the constant questioning of the 3 names! Like one is Elton John in his last performance in the U.K. and still even questions about him.  

It really just seems to be a case of…. Don’t like them so they’re a rubbish headliner

Headliners aren't massively on my rader normally. Obviously like everyone else I take an interest. Can't put forward any alternatives, seems no one interesting is available.

Having a quick look back over the past few years, this seems sadly consistant (it's predominantly white, male, rock, Noel Gallagher will be happy)) with a few notable exceptions. So much for 50/50 and diversity. GFL really need to start taking some chances on headliners, there no risk, it will sell out.

Thankfully West Holts know what they're doing and The Other Stage usually manage to book a top dance act.

Got to admit, I'm absolutely loving the fume about GnR playing. It could still turn out to be wrong but every time someone loses their shit over it, it makes me a little happier.

I'm not blown away by these headliners at all. But I can see why they've been booked, I will enjoy Elton, will be a legendary night I think. I'll go and see GnR, as I've never seen them, and they have some classics. I'm really not into AM, BUT I'll enjoy the fact that one of my son's favourite bands (AM) is headlining his first ever major festival, even though I'm not that keen, I'm over the moon for him.

I'm in the same boat. Don't think I've seen this level of dislike towards a headliner before. I don't understand, if you don't like them, don't go to see them.

Yea I love it when there's a headliner that excites me.  Nothing quite like the Pyramid as a venue. Had a great time at Jay Z and Beyonce, but it's relatively rare that Pyramid headliners are for me, shame really.

its a dislike of the booking rather than a dislike for the act.feels like they've run out of ideas.

Don't recall the likes of Ed Sheeran or Mumford & Sons being greeted with much enthusiasm. Even the likes of Adele was divisive.
