Wednesday morning Zig-Zags?

Hi, Does anyone know if you have to walk through the zig-zags if you arrive mid morning on the Wednesday or do you walk straight up to the gate? We normally go overnight Tuesday but the lack of sleep is breaking me now (too old! :-)) Hoping to arrive mid/late morning Wednesday instead so need to do research on arrival times, queues and the dreaded zig-zags from hell! 🙂

ts about crowd management, if the crowd won't allow itself to be managed we end up with lots of complaints about crowding, and perhaps much worse.

Thanks Neil, yes I understand that it's important to have them in place when it's busy, when the gates open it would be a nightmare. I was just wondering if later in the morning when the crowd had died down a bit whether or not they removed them.

I arrived at coach gate around midday this year and the zigzags were still in use. What gate do you plan to arrive at, that probably needs to be said for someone to help 🙂

It's impossible to give a definite answer ahead of time.

It'll vary by gate, and more specifically when any reconfiguration happens and what it looks like will be a judgement call by the the gate manager (or if they're not bothered, the supervisors) at that moment - it's not scheduled in.
