They surely can’t get away with YYYs, the Hives, Aphex Twin, The Prodigy and Blur without announcing something else for Mijas! It’s the same organisers!!!!

There was some differences last year but not this big. We have to get more!

I wonder if Arcade Fire have cancelled and therefore Blur was brought in to compensate and CM is now also desperately trying to find a new headliner before they both announce no Arcade Fire.

I've always been suspicious of them coming to Europe for two shows.

But Kalorama would have brought them on the Arcade Fire day then?

A cancellation would have been announced before and I’m pretty sure the band have briefly promoted Cala Mijas and Kalorama on their socials.

Last year they came to England for a BBC Radio session and their Koko gig and went straight back to America after.

Confident they will play.

They done the same a few years back for Bilbao and NOS Alive

I'm clinging on to the slim hope that they add Yeah Yeah Yeahs to address the massive imbalance with Kalorama.

Put them on the Friday to sub the Strokes, get a bump in sales and close out a good poster.

My prayers are with this too, but it seems a bit unrealistic at this point now…

but hey, I thought the same with M83 and we alredy know how that worked out!

🤞🏻

timetable maybe first week og august?

I am confused about the imbalance between between Mijas and Kalorama… I don’t understand why the organisers really think it’s acceptable when we’re paying the same amount for the ticket….

I think it's something to do with exclusivity deals in Spain vs Portugal. In Spain, some festivals like Mad Cool and Primavera or some venues in Madrid and Barcelona have more strict deals that do not allow some artists to play in Spain. I am not saying it to defend Cala Mijas but this happens every year with Mad Cool and Nos Alive when Nos Alive books a different headliner.
