He was being pestered on IG this year as to if he was there, but he had US festival dates already, I think he put up an instagram post to address it and said he’ll definitely be there in the future.

Honestly I don't get people, there's a good artist loads are stoked about but they decide that because he's popular they need shit on him. 🙄

I get it's meant to be funny but it's just mean spirited. 

 

Anyway, to answer the thread I'd say it's likely but he's now been touring the same set almost consistently for 2 years and churned out 3 albums so he must be due a break at some point. For the reason other posters in this thread make, he is EVERYWHERE rn and sometimes saturation leads to negative press. But why not cash in on a good thing and power through to the 23 festival season.

I don’t understand the negativity, he’s clearly a very talented dj, better than a lot of other mainstream djs who just churn out cheesy songs constantly, he does it all himself and is hugely popular, like him or loath him he’s about to blow up so he’s going to be around for a while yet. I’d love to see him headline west holts and he’d have a huge crowd

He's released 3 albums though in that time so not too surprising. He's just doing his first proper tour now - loads of artists tour heaps at the start and a lot of DJs tour pretty much every summer album or not.

He's already announced Rock Wertcher for next year

This is a wealthy privately educated producer with great connections, huge industry support and insane hype, I'm pretty sure he's able to weather the blows of a few memes that aren't even harsh in the first place.

It's no different to those legendary 'shreds' videos that did the rounds a few years ago on youtube.

That's true, I saw him in April last year on tour round #1 and in my head it's been a pretty constant stream of gigs. He does have the new stuff with Skrillex and fourtet. Given Fourtet has a 99% chance of being there I'd love to see them together.

Enjoy Brixton! I've found his shows better than festival sets. Although worry the hype is almost guaranteed to result in a disappointing night now.

This being the best one.  I adore The Beach Boys, but this is hilarious and in no way suggests they're actually a bad band.
