Not big enough for the main act but could easily be the top sub

They are a decent way off the size of the subs community has had in the past, wombats did it last year who sea girls are far smaller than. They did a half sold ally pally in november

Well Without knowing who the headliner is it's hard to say they are/aren't big enough, it could be a much smaller event than previous years!

The wombats are a strange band when it comes to festivals, they sub an awful lot when they probably could headline some of them outright (a bit like blossoms)

Its at a 40k park which is basically the same as Finsbury park

Doesn't mean that it will necessarily be a 40k event though does it, gunnersville and citedal were not the same size event but still in the same park and all points east have adjusted there arena size for different events

Well they could be the headliner then too with this logic, i'm just going off what we know so far and what else uses that park

Totally get the backlash for such a lazy booking, but I'm BUZZING. Last year's community was probably my favourite day festival ever, and this years lineup is even better. 4 of my favourite bands in one day for likely £60 a ticket, can't complain!

Not even £60, was £51 inc fees last year and i reckon 'presents' makes it sound cheaper tbh

Yeah the 'presents' branding is interesting. Certainly suggests it'll be smaller scale. I recall people here saying Community 2022 didn't sell that well (and the park didn't seem that full on the day either), so maybe a reaction to that. Smaller capacity, cheaper tickets?

It definitely didn't sell well - but i think act wise that top 3 can't be super super cheap.

Vaccines and NBT are surely a pretty similar fee? Main thing i guess is cutting off some hours at the start where its near empty anyway - or maybe chuck someone big early to get people in at midday

I figure it will be single stage as well, which is surely another cost cutting aspect?

Starts at 2pm i see

Presents does sound like single stage yeah - to be honest i'm happy with all but baby queen (don't really know, so would probably like based on the others anyway)

Not sure i can be bothered though - seen them all so many times, just would like to see the vaccines. will wait for glasto poster

edit: absolute fucking nightmare to get to as well, will not help ticket sales. finsbury is far far better connected.

I think that will be its biggest issue. That is probably why the South Facing tickets eneded up on so many givw aways and cheap ticket deals.

The travel issues and the fact it clashes with my Weeknd gig that day means I will not be going.

So strange they went with the same names.

Yeah it is just weird. will hold out for 2-4-1, cheap twickets etc - this is certainly going sell appalling based off last year

Not a Londoner so how big a travel headache are we talking? Figured we'd get hotel in central and get under/over ground there - but maybe need something more local if it's really bad!

Last trains will be fine - just its quite far south its in Croydon almost.

Its on national rail not overground/underground heading towards the city

Wireless was there last year and it seems everyone survived - finsbury was just great for me being north of london and so close to Kings X
