Glasgow to Glastonbury

It`s that time if year again 🙂 

we will again be running a minibus/s +van for the gear (been doing it since 2010) This is done at cost (approx £100 rtn) and will have 2/3 spare seats.

We leave on the Tuesday am prior and return the Tuesday am after, we spend the Monday night after the Festival in Glastonbury town.

may be able to do something, it will depend on friends getting tickets in the resale. I`ll contact you after the resale  🙂

Is this still available? Two of us living in Edinburgh but could maybe get across to Glasgow - what sort of time would you be setting off? We are volunteering on the info desk so need to be on site Tuesday night. I have a crew vehicle pass if that's any help.

I wont know until after the re-sale Sunday 🙂 we normally get into the car-parks between 11pm-12pm on the Tuesday night.

Ok, I've done the final numbers and we have space for 2 people. I`ve messaged a couple of people but had no response thus far so i`ts now open to first come first served.

THE PLAN 🙂 

Going down.

We leave Glasgow on the Tuesday about 10am, steady drive down with plenty of stops, arrive at a pub about about 20 mile from Glastonbury about 8pm have a couple of hours in the pub (me and the other driver normally have a kip 🙂 )

Normally in the queue for about 11pm (that's when me and the other driver start drinking)

Coming back

Normally leave the site about 4pm on the Monday and drive into Glastonbury Town for the night, mostly staying in the Premier Inn / Travelodge (there may be a spare room)

leave Glastonbury Town about 9am. on the Tuesday morning.

 

We do this at cost IE Minibus hire - Van hire (for the gear) +fuel. I expect it to be about £100 pp return.
