Shower situation

i know this is a bit of a stinky boy thing to say, but not showering from weds to monday is a bit disgusting, yeah - but my god, the joy of that first shower when you get back is absolutely orgasmic. Its genuinely tear jerkingly good. Just about worth all the smelliness. 

(of course now i volunteer there, so i get access to showers - and my big issue is that when you're clean and smelling good, it makes everyone else smell much worse by comparison, whereas you just dont notice the big stink when you yourself are a bit honking . . . its a minefield!)

We used the greenpeace showers last year, there isn't a queue as such.. you get given a ticket number and then you just come back later when it's your number so don't need to sit in a queue.

We just got some breakfast and went for a wonder, after about 1-2 hours it had reached our number and we went straight in

Went for the first time last year and didn't shower - just some soapy water in a collapsible bucket each morning and some wet wipes which did the trick nicely.

By day 4 I think I developed some sort of film but everyone's in the same boat 😂

When I'm a stinky boy from a festival I usually drop off my passengers and drive straight to the gym for a shower, sauna, steam and jacuzzi.  There's nothing quite like it to return you to normality.  Walk in like a tramp and leave like a new man 🙂

Lost Horizon have been known to do free saunas for crew on the Monday after.

I've been there during the festival but we leave on Monday lunchtime. 

They are crowd funding again now so hopefully they make it back this year.

We have a hotel for the Tuesday night so shower when we leave in the morning, bowl wash at the tent for Thursday, Friday and the Sunday. Saturday afternoon about 4ish I'll go for a quick shower as the queue is about 10 min long.
