Must have been many conversations around that amazing table of @Sawdusty surfer and my brother helped with that pond installation 🙂

The pond is gorgeous, that whole set up is beautiful and such a nice temporary reprice from the insanity I was putting myself through ( drugs, and excitement and just glastonbury)

If he did have the unfortunate time of chatting to me I feel sorry for him I was on another planet, literally spangled for 21 hours of being awake a day. I'm looking forward to next year's interactions, as I should remember the large majority

Nothing to do with being blackout drunk for me but when you've done many glasto's and especially several in a row, it's difficult to place order of events and what happened when... not that the memories aren't there, more how to access and sequence them. And on the second point, the empty fields are very different to the festival fields. I don't think there's many people who could do that with any level of accuracy!

I actually can recall every single festival since my first in 2005, never missed one since. From arriving and to where we pitched when we camped, and latterly where we were in the campervan fields from 2009 onwards. I can also remember my favourite sets each year and even which friends were there. My husband on the other hand can't remember much at all! CharlotteB Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM I tend to remember each year based on a standout act I saw or the headliners, but I admit, it's all becoming a bit blurred now.

I just couldn't put it all on a timeline. My brain's probably broken.
philipsteak
Yeah, I stopped drinking in 2005, have the occasional one now and then but you could probably count my annual total drinks on both hands. I really struggle to remember which year was which for stuff. Like @CharlotteB says, I might remember a stand out act or huge name, but even that's not guaranteed. I also struggle to remember where I've seen acts, as in which festival. I don't do loads of others, usually one or two non-Glasto ones a year and I'll know I've seen an act but often can't remember where. Or it's a real effort and a real 'A-ha!@ moment when I get it.

I still remember every coachella and thats been 20 straight. just some people have that kind of memory where they can pin point where they are and what was happening. and for me, lots of photos does help that cause. well except for glasto 17. didnt take as many photos as i normally do, but nevertheless. Sawdusty surfer
Surprisingly I can remember exactly where we were camped at every Glastonbury that I've been to.

Oh, I remember that easy enough because I always camp in roughly the same spot in Tom's Field 😅 creature of habit.
