Credit Card payments

One of our lot has issues paying on AmEx.
I found this from user @incidenton another thread ‘Not sure about the rest, but AmEx has always been off the table - needs to be VISA or MasterCard only.’

Can we confirm which credit cards are definitely accepted. Is Revolut accepted?
Could cause problems come resale if people don’t have the correct cards.

Forget this. Apparently it says in the T&Cs that Amex isn’t allowed and apparently Revolut isn’t a credit card 😂

I don’t know how to delete this thread.

Pretty sure people failed at the last hurdle on ticket day when trying to pay with Revolut.

Can't set why it's not acceptable. Handy and saves a fortune when travelling.

I think they only would have failed if either they hit the widespread payment issues (I saw those with other cards as well), or if they were overseas and tried to use it when a Credit Card was required.

Revolut in the UK is a pre-paid VISA card. While it's technically not a bank account (and so doesn't have all the same protections), as far as See are concerned it's indistinguishable from a normal debit card.

Revolut in Europe is a fully regulated bank.issuing either VISA or MasterCard debit cards.
