National Express coaches – do you have to get the departure time on the ticket?

Hi there! I have gotten seeticket coaches every year i've been and on the way back have just gone and got any old coach at the time that worked best for me.

Is it the same with National Express coaches? The only ones left leave at 4pm on Monday and I'd much prefer to leave at like 5am. Anyone got any experience with this?

To be clear, this is just regarding LEAVING the festival. Sorry it wasn't clear in the title!

I've always found the NE staff to be helpful on the Monday morning.

If there's an earlier one to your destination and it's not full, then they'll probably let you on but it may mean a lot of standing around waiting.

I think their biggest priority will be to have full coaches especially if early morning, so yeah reckon they’ll let you on

NE last year were just loading people up without much checking of times - this was around 6am.

Previously when I've used them, they have boarded people with the correct time first and then had a holding pen for spare seats.

They are helpful and friendly.
