Saw Jamali's second (I think) set last year and can remember thinking he was appallingly unprepared. I think he thought he could wing it. He clearly couldn't.

Similar with Johnathan Pie, who ended up resorting to reading straight from his script. Maybe that's why he hasn't been invited back. Was still miles better than Jamali though.

Absolutely. And tbh who could blame him. I'd pull the exact same stunt if I could - especially as he'll be done and able to relax by about noon on Friday.

It's what Adam Hills did last year. Brilliantly funny but he just chatted about nothing for 30 minutes (no material) and said it was so he could get in!

The Dark Room is likely my comedy pick of festival and very Glastonbury. And also quite popular in certain circles- baffles me that it wasn't on the poster given some of the names that were!
