I’m pretty sure it was a straight fiver. Perhaps the last year they’ve managed to cling onto that as a price point . . .

I have a vague memory of it being cheaper than most other bars but wasn't certain.

Hoping the drinks prices haven't gone up by too much, but not only is there inflation there's Brooklyn beers to think about. Not prime but certainly more expensive than Carling/Tuborg etc.

Hopefully part of the contract to make that the official lager was a fair price point.  The brewery are hopefully looking at it as more as a marketing exercise than as an excuse to fleece people.

I always spend spend around a 100 a day on the Wednesday and Thursday as that'd when I wonder and bar crawl. Once we hit Friday, I take out whisky with me and either buy mixer or drink it neat, and then it's only brekkie and lunch. Reckon 300 all in this year for me. The brothers bar going cash only was a dream for me last year, got served so quick

TBF I expect the bars will be £7 a pint this year.  It wouldn't shock me if it was more.

We always take a fair bit with us in a big coolbox and leave some boxes in the car so we can go back and fetch more come Fri/Sat if needs be.  Bags of ice from the Co-op and we're sorted.  I always swap to a hip flask of spiced rum for the subs/headliners as it reduces the need for piss breaks and can fit in a pocket.  Then hit the bars for the late night/early hours stuff.

One thing I don't scrimp on a Glasto is the food.  It's an indulgence, but there's such a wide variety of great stuff on offer and I can't resist.  For me & Mrs 4AM I've budgeted £750 for the 5 days on food/drink/merch and that's expecting to be drinking our own stash most of the time.

I think 50p sounds right

The change to a far more premium drink could mean more though. Hope not
