Glastonbury Taxi Drop Off

Hi, I usually travel on the coach to Glastonbury, but this year I got tickets on the general sale instead.

Has anybody previously arrived at Glastonbury in a taxi?

I have been trying to do some research and it appears there is a drop off/collect point. 

Is it possible to get a Taxi directly to a gate?

The reason I ask is because there are 5 of us going and we will each have a backpack + essential alcohol and a large tent between us. We usually put these into a sturdy foldable trolley and I am worried that the trolley won’t be allowed on the shuttle bus, as it mentions trolleys are not allowed on the festival website.

We have researched hiring a car and it doesn’t appear to be too much difference in cost to getting a taxi, which also helps out massively with one of us not having to drive after 5 days of drinking.

Just wondering what peoples previous experiences have been like and what they think would be the best method of transport.

Used the drop off point last year and saw sack truck style trolleys allowed on no problem (but only a few per bus). If yours is foldable you'll be absolutely fine. I think they put that note on there to discourage the big 4 wheeler or wheelbarrow types. Do the taxi.
