Hey! What is the best way of getting crates of drinks (soft and alcoholic) when you're at the festival? Are there shops nearby where you can get these?

I will be coming by train so I won't have a car to come and go from the site.

You should be able to get soft drinks from the co op on site (unsure if in crates, however) but there aren't  any shops in walking distance for alcohol realistically.  You'll be better off bringing spirits on the train with you (decant into plastic bottles) and then buying cold mixers as you go.

Echo the above. Unless you're prepared to leave the site by taxi or bus there are no shops nearby and you will be limited to whats onsite; ie soft drinks at the co-op and alcohol at the bars. Leaving to get alcohol supplies is a lengthy, time consuming and costly chore so bring you can carry with you.

If you know anyone coming by car I would suggest you buy any crates from your local supermarket then get them to bring them in their car for you.  Can then meet up and go out to the car parks and collect the alcohol after you've got in and set up camp.
