Artist camping

A friend has got a spare wristband from an artist playing in Silver Hayes.

I don’t think they quite appreciate the scale of the site and how full the campsites get.

Anyone know where the the relevant camping is for them? Is it just crew, or is there a specific artist campsite?

they can camp anywhere, including the hospitality camping wherever that is now.
(no real advantage with hospitality camping).

Back in the day Dragon Field was a hotly contested place to camp. Now crew only so they could camp there.

If they get SH credentials, then they'll be able to camp in the SH crew area and this is by far likely to be the best option. Not sure whether SH splits down further into artists and general crew though - some areas do, some don't.

Very unlikely they get a suitable wristband for Dragon though. The various crew campsites tend to be tied to specific teams.

If they're on our list or we agree to let them in.

Dragon Field is an overflow "campsite" for people from the Greenfields who can't be accommodated in their specific area.

Hospitality camping is in Woodsies field, just south of the stage formerly known as the John Peel Tent. There is a big advantage in staying there in that there are more luxurious toilets and far more showers, if that's important to you. It's also very close to Silver Hayes if that's where you need to be.

I wondered who had Dragon these days! My god it can get muddy though- remember one year walking through it in calf-deep welly eating mud...
