Ped Gate for Wicket Ground Family Camping

Recommended Posts

We're wanting to stay in Wicket Ground family Camping this year, which means coming from the other side of site to usual and parking in orange or pink.  Aiming to be parked up about 6am on Wednesday to join the queue.

Ped Gate A looks like the obvious choice, but stories I hear is that it's usually the busiest.  I think it's the one ped gate I've never been through.  It obviously has all the coach arrivals too.

How bad will the queue be?  Would it be better to walk a bit further from B or D?

I've never found A to be any worse than B or D. In fact I found the B queues to be the worst I've experienced. It's unpredictable and luck of the draw. You don't have to worry about coach arrivals as they have their own entry system adjacent to A.

Thanks for the reply, but reading some of last year's gate experience I'm still not too sure.

😬
