Armourman
If you rearrange Blur and Pulp it becomes The churn ups....
Joey01
After Damon Albarn saying that an Oasis reunion is "definitely going to happen", Liam saying it was "happening very soon" and also confirming on Twitter that he'd be at Glasto this year despite not being billed, Noel also finally talking about a reunion (after divorcing his wife this year, the only person stopping a reunion in the first place) and saying on live radio "ring me then brother" only last week (which was clearly staged), it's clear that Churnups is them. Why do I say this? Well, I was at their gig in Sheffield in 1997, and I remember them introducing themselves by saying "hello, we're The Churnups because we just turn up and churn music out"...* *They didn't really but I just wanted to add more confusion to the whole facade. An actual anagram of it is "Ruth punches" so I'm now expecting a hour of Ruth Langsford punching Phillip Schofield as everyone cheers as a nod to how entertainment was in the 1800's. She will also say "now this is real rock n' roll, Royal Blood" as they scurry into the corner scared to come out to the crowd baying for more blood. Good theory, but can you really see them playing 3rd headliners on a reunion gig? The egos would simply not allow it

I was even at that LG one and thought he was 3rd up for some reason. He did play 4th up on the Other Stage (!) in 2017 though. Also did they sub the "best Rock n' Roll band' Royal Blood last time? Surely worth dropping down to 3rd for that honour.

No offence, but there's another thread for that kind of comment. I've sacrificed enough this winter for there even to be a drop of the wet stuff over the fest... suggest you take it elsewhere. Kalopsia
Just had a thought, are Pulp the Park TBA on Sat at 19:45? That is exactly the time and day they played in 2011. Could be a nice touch to repeat it?
