Obviously this is a very small sample size, but the three groups I know who are going will be off to Courteeners now it isn't Pulp.

Hmm, I dunno. Foos are absolute huge, have headlined festivals in the UK for the last two decades, don't think they've suddenly become irrelevant and surpassed in popularity for the average person.

Maybe if you factor in the scarcity factor. Foos have been everywhere the last 20 years. Pulp haven't. It's a tight one, but either way I look at it, the Pyramid is gonna be massively RAMMO on Friday early evening.*

*Then barely half full for Royal Blood.

In terms of rock acts who are still active, they’re way up there. Like obviously The Rolling Stones are still going yada yada, but in terms of an act with massive broad appeal and a household name, it doesn’t get much bigger than Foos right now.

Yep, exactly this.

I love Aurora and have always wanted to see them play it live, but saw a video of them doing it at Rock AM Ring and… just seemed like a total vibe killer, not at all helped by the fact Dave’s voice is pretty f**ked and he can’t carry it properly anymore. Was apparently Taylor’s favourite song so maybe it’ll stay just for that, but I think they’d be better off keeping the energy up with bangers.

Thats my thing with that and Shame Shame. It'd be nice for both songs to be at Glastonbury, one for Taylor and one to show off Violet, who can genuinely sing. Or, do they add Walk, Breakout/This is a call.

My guess is them having the 2nd/3rd biggest crowd of the weekend. Elton > Foos > Arctics

Royal Blood will probably have started before everyone can escape.

Well, I was looking forward to either but so pleased it looks like the Foos. I was blown away by them in 17. Just so much pure energy, excitement and happiness coming from them. This was the gig my husband watched on TV which finally persuaded him to come. I can't wait to take him to the Foos . He will of course love Pulp anyway if it is them still.

Urgh, Foo Fighters would be a real let down, when two of the biggest British bands of the 90s are about near the time. It's sad that their bassist died but they've been at every festival pretty much over a decade. Unless you've gone out of your way to miss them you've probably seen them.

She can cause people might just be waiting for GNR.

so its gonna be Pulp to follow Foos? Trampling is a coming unless you leave halfway into foos to even get to Woodsies.

No, that's Blossoms and Rick Astley play The Smiths allegedly.

I'm told Josh Homme produced the last Royal Blood album and he co produced Humbug and was involved in AM from memory. Grohl has appeared with QOTSA and is in TCV with Homme and QOTSA are playing the Sunday. Leading me to think some sort of supergroup effort might be a possibility.

Starting to feel like I'm the only person who dislikes Foo Fighters.

Thought Pulp would be nailed on this year with Jarvis being there every other year and big friends of the Eavis's. Gutted with this new revelation.

Every time someone mentions a supergroup a kitten dies.

Will be interesting to see how they react to half (or more!) of the crowd walking away not before their set but during it 😂
